Earth Buddy Solutions Line

Earth Buddy is a company in Colorado with the mission to elevate your pet's health & well-being by providing your fur buddies with small batch, organically grown hemp supplements.

The Solutions line was created as a means to provide a solution to common issues your pet might experience, such as dry skin, gut health, and anxiety. Each product is curated with your pet's health in mind. Earth Buddy uses science and innovation to preserve the full spectrum of nature and keeps every element in their products as close to their natural state as they can.

The Ask

Create a brand identity for the Earth Buddy Solutions line that incorporates the following: unique colors for each product, mountains, product details, directions for use, and FDA disclaimers.

The Challenge

Designing a new product line goes beyond just package design. There are many elements to consider - product displays, trade show displays, advertising, and informational materials. My goal was to create a thoughtful brand identity for the new product line that simulatenously coordinates with their existing product lines while standing out from the pack.

The Result

I integrated a subtle, blue mountainscape in the background of the labels to coordinate with the Colorado themed adjacent product lines. I also introduced new colors to the palette that paired with the existing palette. Each element of the design nods to the rustic, playful, local brand that Earth Buddy has worked to develop. After print testing, we launched the new product line. With this launch came the design of product displays, trade show displays, advertising, and informational materials. Additionally, I developed brand guidelines for future designers and vendors to reference. Earth Buddy launched the Solutions line to 2,000+ retailers nationwide.
